The Mares Ultra 72X Regulator is a powerhouse of a regulator with an eight Low Pressure Port first stage!  

The first stage is a newly designed 72X, featuring two High Pressure ports and four Low Pressure Vertical plus four Radial Low Pressure ports, that all feature the Mares Dynamic flow control (DFC).

Double that of any other first stage, that offers you great hose routing options. 

This feature is designed to minimise any pressure that drops when diving during inhalation which maximises air delivery.

The two High Pressure ports are also feature the Optomised Port Design (OPD) in which the ports are angled opposite each other, allowing the turret to be rotated without the HP and LP hoses interfering with each other. 

The 72x has the Auto sealing system (AST) which is designed to keep the first stage dry, without affecting the performance of the regulator whilst in use. 
Next is the Natural Convection Channel (NCC) which increases performance when in cold water by creating a flow of water across the regulator.

The second stage features a pearl chrome finish and connects the second stage with a braided, super flex hose making this regulator extremely durable.
 
The Ultra second stage is made from an ultra light techno polymer, that is abrasion resistant and ideal for diving in moderate and warm waters. 
Featuring a pneumatically assisted design (PAD) for greater breathing comfort.

The Mares Ultra has Mares new Twin Power that is a flow control that manages the delivery rate of the air from natural breathing to power breathing, generally used in strong currents, deep dives or extreme conditions.

The Vortex assisted design (VAD) is a small bypass tube that delivers air to the mouthpiece creating a vortex with a low pressure area in the centre that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation for a sensitive breath every time. 

This light weight second stage comes with a comfortable silicone mouthpiece and a wide pivoting purge button.

CERTIFIED PERFORMANCE AT 200M USING OUR ANSTI MACHINE

Achieved en250 work of breathing requirements at the depth of 200 m at a breathing rate of 62,5 l/min whilst using a breathing mix of 6.7% oxygen, 83.3% helium and 10% nitrogen. 
This gas mixture has a density at 200m equivalent to the density of air at 50 m
