Shark Ecology Specialty

$199.00

In this fascinating program, you will learn to separate fact from fiction and discover the real truth about these fascinating animals. You will also learn how to respond when scuba diving, freediving or snorkelling with sharks.

Divers and non-divers have the opportunity to learn more about sharks, experience the fascination of sharks and learn the right techniques when they encounter a shark, in an unforgettable way.

The shark dives are optional in this program and that is why it is the perfect specialty in preparation for next getaway to Forster, South West Rocks or your overseas diving holiday. The fact that you are being taught by an experienced expert will enable you to apply the knowledge to future shark encounters and enjoy watching these amazing creatures in the wild.

By applying the acquired knowledge you can immediately have fun in the water- this program is not going to give you a marine biologist degree, there are no long lectures nor long tedious lessons! But you will enjoy your first contact with sharks because you have all the necessary and the correct knowledge to allow an amazing interaction .

By taking the Pro-Dive/SSI Shark Ecology program, you will learn how sharks and their behaviour are often misunderstood, and how you can safely observe them in their natural habitat. You will earn the SSI Shark Ecology Specialty certification after completing this program.
