Reputedly one of the best ocean cave dives areas in the country- Fish Rock Cave is a 125 metre long submerged tunnel, home to one of the largest, single collection of the highly endangered Grey Nurse shark.
Experience the only true ocean cave dive in Australia and prepare to be amazed.

Due to the rock’s proximity to the continental shelf, currents wash the rock continually, bringing the all important nutrients. The result is an abundance of marine life including kingfish, grey nurse sharks, fusiliers, blue groupers, lionfish, turtles, rays and tropical fish.
More often than not, fantastic clarity of water is experienced at this location, averaging 20 metres or more!

Requirements - You need to be Open Water Certified and you must bring your certification with you.
Additional Gear requirements - Torch, Slate
Equipment Provided - Tanks with Nitrox Fills
Gear Hire - is available and includes one piece wetsuit, buoyancy vest, regulator with dive computer. Snorkelling gear is not included.

Transportation to South West Rock is not included, call for car pool info.

Nitrox mixtures contain higher levels of oxygen, which is advantageous to a scuba diver as it reduces nitrogen absorption, this allows for longer dive times and reducing the risk of decompression sickness. This is perfect for underwater photographers, wreck divers and anyone who wants to stay down longer. You will learn the preparation and diving procedures involved with enriched air diving. The course includes a mini workshop, theory exam and two pleasure dives using Nitrox and is completed in one day.
