NOTE: Weekend courses run on Saturday and Sunday for two consecutive weekends. 

Mid-week courses start on Wednesday and run for 3 consecutive days.

Discovering the art of Scuba diving can be a transformative encounter, providing you with the chance to discover uncharted territories. As the majority of the world's surface is submerged underwater, possessing certification as a diver permits you to enjoy limitless opportunities to delve into the depths of the ocean.

Obtaining an SSI Open Water Certification will equip you with the necessary skills to become a reliable and independent diver, enabling you to explore the underwater world up to a depth of 18 meters internationally.

  • Complete your online registration process
  • Finalise the Open Water academics section, quick quizzes and exam before in water training commences
  • Swim a minimum of 200 mt unassisted
  • Tread water for ten minutes
  • Be a minimum of 15 years old
  • 12 years with adult diver supervision
  • Online academic training to be completed prior to face to face training
  • 6 pool/confined water sessions
  • 4 open water sessions
  • Wetsuit, equipment (excludes mask, snorkel fins and boots)
  • Mask, snorkel, fins (can be purchased)
  • Food and drinks
  • Your own transport
  • Swimming gear and towel
