If you are an Open Water Diver, you qualify for our Advanced Adventurer Course.  It doesn't matter if you have minimal or lots of diving experience.  The Advanced Adventurer course is 100 per cent practical, with no written exam - only Knowledge Reviews on each Adventure Dive covered during the course.

This program allows you to experience five different open water dives from five Specialty programs, without requiring you to complete the entire Specialty course. 

You have the option of including the Enriched Air / Nitrox course when you do your Advanced Open Water course.

The Enriched Air Course starts with online theory and you will complete two adventure dives, using Enriched Air / Nitrox.

If you are still deciding your next step, this is the perfect way to advance your dive skills and experience plus identify which Specialty programs interest you. 

You will earn the Advanced Adventurer certification after completing this program.

Saturdays Dives (Shore dives)

Dive 1- Perfect Buoyancy
The first dive teaches you the skills and techniques needed to maximise your dive experience, increase your comfort in the water, save on air, and control your body underwater to get the most from your equipment. 

Dive 2- Underwater Navigation 
You will learn how to use a compass and natural navigation techniques, it just takes a little practice and confidence. Soon you will be estimating distances, basic navigation patterns and how to leave and return to a designated exit point.

Dive 3- Enriched Air Nitrox 
Diving with enriched air can increase your no-decompression limits, improve your safety, and reduce the required length of your surface intervals when compared to air. We'll also check out the local marine life. 


Sunday Dives (Boat Dives)

Dive 4- Deep dive 
Many exciting dive sites are located in deeper water. Without proper training, this kind of diving puts you at risk. Today is your chance to reach 30 metres in a controlled manner, allowing you to safely and comfortably plan and conduct dives beyond Open water diver certification.

Dive 5- Wreck Dive 
Many of the ocean's best dive sites have artificial reefs, or wrecks that have sunk throughout the ages. We have the former scuttled warship "ex HMAS Adelaide" to dive on! 
On this final day, you will learn the skills and knowledge required to safely scuba dive above and around, these underwater treasures.

Please note:
Dives may be substituted should weather conditions prove to be unsafe. Alternate dives will be offered.

Open water diver certification

Air or Nitrox Fills, Deep boat dive, Instructor.

Bring your Total Dive System to use on the course- scuba rental is available (see below)

SMB, Slate and pencil
Hood, gloves
Suitable torch if completing night dive

Scuba Rental.     

Full rental- Wetsuit, Weight integrated BC, Regulator with Computer and Tank-
Total $100 for all five dives over the two days
