ProDive Central Coast operate a  govt. surveyed dive boat that speeds you out to the dive site in what many are describing as, the best ‘day’ dive boat to the Adelaide – the purpose built “Snappy Tom” will show you what a comfortable and safe dive boat ride, is really like.

The vessel has  two full sized boarding ladder, makes it easy to reboard and also very safe when exiting to the water.

We run regular morning trips (weather permitting) and booked afternoon and night dives plus, with the ex HMAS Adelaide being so close to the boat ramp, she offers a great opportunity for advanced scuba diving courses, enriched air, wreck and photography courses are an option, you can partake in, every day.

This dive site is an awesome adventure for both advanced divers as well as technical divers.
A visually impacting dive, with a lot of the ships equipment and machinery, left in place.

From very early on, the marine life has been attracted to this area with a Minke whale and Australian Fur Seal dropping in for a peek within weeks of the scuttling. Schools of juvenile tropical Heniochus, small Bream, Yellowtail Kingfish and tiny Mados have already claimed a spot and larger fish will follow in the coming years making this area a fantastic artificial reef.
The nearest boat ramp to the HMAS Adelaide is Terrigal haven.

How to get to here from the M1 Freeway from south

After crossing Mooney Mooney bridge, move into left lane at top of hill

• Take the off ramp to Central Coast Hwy Exit, Somersby
• Continue along Central Coast Hwy, Somersby after ramp
• At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Dane Dr, Gosford
• Follow Central Coast Highway (The Entrance Road)
• Turn right at lights onto Terrigal Drive
• Continue along through Terrigal township on Terrigal Esp
• Turn left onto Terrigal haven after Ash St, Terrigal
• Follow road towards "Haven Seafoods" near boat ramp.

• Take the off ramp to Wyong Rd Exit,
• Continue along Wyong Rd
• Turn right at lights to Tumbi Rd
• Follow Tumbi Rd to the Central Coast Highway
• Turn right at roundabout
• Turn left at roundabout to Ocean View Drive
• Follow Ocean View drive to Terrigal Drive
• Turn left at roundabout onto Terrigal Drive
• Continue along Terrigal Esplanade past shops
• Turn left onto Terrigal haven after Ash St, Terrigal
• Follow road towards "Haven Seafoods" near boat ramp.
