Pro Dive Central Coast

The Crossover program is conducted over two days with our Instructor trainer, in a very small group, with SSI Instructor orientations, classroom presentations and in-water presentations, as well as water skills exercises, in our purpose-built, indoor heated, training pool.

ISO-certified scuba training agencies, WRSTC member agencies and federations included but are not limited to NAUI, PADI, SDI, TDI/SDI, IANTD, CMAS or BSAC.

However, such individuals may have to undertake some additional training in respect to academic knowledge and skill development applicable to your current training agency and to the current level of training, SSI requires.

Note that SSI generally requires a higher level of academic knowledge, with more in-water skills than most other, training agencies. However, be aware the majority of the SSI Cross Over Program focuses on developing your knowledge and familiarity with the SSI system of training, rather than a desire on our part to completely retrain you.

Your Instructor crossover training will take place over two days, then an internship will be conducted with real customers under the direct supervision of our experience Pro-Dive Central Coast Instructor Trainers, where you will teach an Open Water Course.

All instructors will be mentored by knowledgeable and experienced Instructor Trainers.

To participate and enrol:

The minimum age is 18 years

You must have a valid/equivalent Instructor certification

Current First Aid, CPR and oxygen provider certification
