Dive Latitude Rock and the Pinnacle

27th & 28th July, 2024

Forster and Seals Rock is just a short two hour drive north from the coast and hosts some of the best dive sites the area has to offer. The better known sites are bristling with fish life and heaps of Grey Nurse sharks, with the odd huge Wobbie thrown in, for good measure.

The Pinnacle is rated in the top ten dive sites in the world. This is big critter territory, Grey Nurse Sharks up to 4 metres long in aggregations of 50 and more. Huge numbers of fish life, pelagic and otherwise.

Grey Nurse Sharks frequent this dive site, and you will often get the opportunity to take spectacular photographs of the sharks silhouetted in the gutters .

There are quite a lot of dive sites and we select the best on the day to suit all divers. Whilst Open water certification is certainly OK for most sites, some of the deeper sites, are definitely rated for Advanced divers.

What else do you need to know?
Requirements - You need to be Open Water Certified and you must bring your certification with you.
Additional Gear requirements - Torch, Slate
Gear Hire - is available and includes; one piece wetsuit, buoyancy vest, regulator with dive computer. Snorkelling gear is not included.

Transportation to Forster is not included, call for car pool info.
